Ink Fingerprinting
Ink and Paper Fingerprints – Digital Conversion (CardScan)
For INTERNATIONAL CLIENTS there is no need to be fingerprinted in Canada. Simply go to your local police detachment or a private fingerprint company and have a set of fingerprints taken on a c-216c RCMP card, FD-258 FBI Card or a local police form having a similar layout and complete a 3rd party consent form if applicable. Mail us these documents (originals needed) with a copy of 2 pieces of valid ID and a passport photo. We will use the latest advanced technology to convert the traditional ink fingerprint card (hard copy) into an electronic fingerprint record. The electronic fingerprints will then be submitted to the RCMP on your behalf.

Tips
If the officer is having trouble or advises that the quality of your fingerprints is not very good please take additional sets of fingerprints.
Please make note of the name of the officer fingerprinting you.
If you are sending the results to a 3rd party (someone other then yourself) please include a 3rd party consent form with your cardscan submission to our office. Please make several copies of the 3rd party consent using different fingerprints in the box provided (1 finger per page).
